3 simple ways to increase your website’s conversion rate

1. Include call to actions (CTAs) in prominent, unmissable areas

A call to action is a piece of content that is designed specifically to convince your prospect to perform a desired action. A simple call to action could be ‘call now’ with your telephone number in the header of your website. Decide what is the most important action you want your visitors to take – call, get a quote, sign up to your newsletter, send you an email – and create content that pushes them to do so prominently. You’d be surprised how many websites fail to include a telephone number at all.

2. Include testimonials 

If someone lands on your website from PPC or organic search, chances are that this could be their first time dealing with your company. A beautiful, professional website design can instantly increase trust; but testimonials from real customers can build upon that. If you’re able to obtain camera-facing videos from customers endorsing your company, you should include them on your site. 

3. Include recognisable, trusted logos

Do you have reviews on any recognised sites such as Tripadvisor, Trustpilot or Google? If so, include those logos on your site with links through to your reviews page. If people see logos from companies they trust on your website, they psychologically associate your company with them. If you don’t have any reviews online yet, you should do whatever you can to get them.
